Tom takes on the role of Managing Partner at Wave Group, this means that he focuses on the internal growth and development of Wave Group to better serve our customers, within both finance as a service and supply chain as a service. He also acts as coach for several companies within the finance domain.
Tom started his career in 2001 at PwC as an external auditor. During more than 15 years he expanded his knowledge in the field of compliance & reporting by serving various clients ranging from smaller companies to large international and listed companies. In his role as a public accountant, he gained extensive experience in IFRS, US GAAP, consolidation and internal audit. Following his career at PwC, he gained experience in operational finance by serving several clients in this area.
Tom is also a lecturer at the Arteveldehogeschool in Ghent, where he teaches management accounting, mergers & acquisitions, operational excellence....
Tom holds a master's degree in Applied Economics (2001 - University of Ghent). Until 2018, he was a certified corporate auditor..
